German Cuisine!

German food is a very popular cuisine. Restaurants sometimes devote their whole menu to German food. Pork, Beef, and Poultry are the most common meat types in German food. Trout is also the most typical freshwater fish. Fried onions are a common addition to most meat dishes. Vegetables are often cooked in stews and vegetable soups, but sometimes they are found as side dishes. A common side dish would be noodles, a type of noodle is spatzle, made from wheat flour and large amounts of egg yolks. Aside from noodles, potatoes are also a common side dish. Potatoes came to Germany in the late 18th century. Most of the time they were boiled in salt water, but they were also mashed and pan roasted sometimes.
